Lake Chad Information System
The Lake Chad Information System (LIS) is the official Knowledge Management Platform of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC), designed to support integrated water resources management and regional development efforts across the Lake Chad Basin. It serves as a centralized hub for collecting, storing, and sharing spatial and non-spatial data from LCBC member states and stakeholders. Through interactive maps, charts, and tables, LIS provides access to critical information on water, climate, environment, socio-economy, and conflict dynamics—empowering decision-makers, researchers, and development partners with reliable insights for coordinated action.
